Curated by contemporary art critic Luca Beatrice, the exhibit explores Fender’s rich history, dating back to the 1940s when Leo Fender began tinkering with his first solid-body electric guitar design. As a manufacturer of musical instruments since 1946, Fender both grew with and influenced the Rock ‘n’ Roll revolution, and with its ability to evolve over the years, has inevitably entered into the history and collective imagination of the 20th Century.
