Vocalist and guitarist Karl Weismantel’s latest release In Hand is a laid back collection of vocal jazz standards arranged by the guitarist for his working trio. The album features Peter Miles and Von Barlow on drums as well as Jason Davis and Paul Creel sharing the bass duties. Each track was arranged for the ensemble by Weismantel in a similar fashion to the classic Chet Baker recordings where Baker would sing and play on each tune.
