Legendary American blues guitarist Luther Allison checked out in August 1997 from a lung tumour that had metastasized to his brain, but not before he recorded one of the greatest concerts of his career, on July 4 that summer at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. This concert is captured on this nicely packaged, 10-track CD and seven-track DVD.
